At Evolve Academy, we believe that all pupils deserve the opportunity to be supported in their re-engagement with learning and school life through a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment where the curriculum is personalised to meet the differing needs and interests of all our pupils. Our staff pride themselves on offering a nurture-based approach and educational offer that supports pupils and their families to ensure they achieve positive outcomes and are ready to move on to further success in their next educational setting.

This week in PSHE, our students have been learning about the importance of internet safety and how to stay safe online. We’ve also explored artificial intelligence. It’s been fantastic to see such thoughtful discussions around these important digital skills. 💻✨
Lots of hands-on learning in Maths this week! ✏️📐 We’ve been diving into Geometry ; identifying shapes and showing reflections while having fun along the way.
Our KS3 students have been exploring The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas this term, developing a deeper understanding of its powerful themes.
We are proud to showcase their thoughtful work and the empathy they have demonstrated through their learning. 📚

This weeks Time's table rockstar's tournament across KS2 and KS3 ended with a whopping 1,850 points to the winner!

Student's have been demonstrating strong cooking skills by confidently preparing dishes using a variety of spices and ingredients. They showed an understanding of flavor combinations and applied appropriate techniques throughout the cooking process.

Some of our KS2 student's have been showing how to make multiples of 2 using concrete materials, and then showing it on whiteboard in abstract form.
We have been focusing on the use of manipulatives across school and how these can support hands on learning in the classroom.
