In English this morning we have been using our online digital literacy platform @BedrockLearning to support our grammar and vocabulary understanding by accessing a range of different fictional texts.

Some student's have been looking into classical fairy tales during English this term.
We have been focusing on sequencing the story ' Little Red Riding Hood' from beginning to end, and working on our main character descriptions. This lesson we focused on the big bad wolf.
This week student's in KS2 have been using their practical skills to trim and shape the wood to use for different purposes.

Our end of term KS2 forestry session went down a treat!
Home made smores using marshmallows and custard creams alongside a deliciously warm hot chocolate whilst enjoying being in the outdoors.

Our students visited the Mental Health Museum to explore local history and how understanding mental health has changed over time. We looked at the different styles of clothing and also of services offered to both patients and staff.
